please excuse the interruption...

So... we've been busy...
Our little project started in November 2011 and as of August 9, 2012 at about 10:43 a.m. we finished it up... His name is Max.

He's pretty much the coolest person I know. He's funny and strong and gassy and cute and giggly and Mine.

So, between being pregnant, giving birth, our whole life completely changing and not screwing up too much over the last four months, I really didn't have time to lend to a blog; but I'm back with more insight and perspective than I ever thought possible. A Max will do that to ya.

don't hassle me... i'm pinning

So, a lot of people know about Pinterest now, and if you don't, here's your introduction: it's the best place on the planet. You can basically create a collection of your favorite things all in one place that's always at your fingertips, as long as you have an internet connection. For instance, if you're browsing a recipe site and find a crock pot recipe that will let you do what you want during your day and fool your husband into thinking you slaved in the kitchen all day, you can * Pin It * to your Pinterest account and it will be there for you to enjoy till the cows come home.

Same for any outfit you see while looking at websites for every store that resides at the King Of Prussia mall ... alphabetically... dreaming about a Pretty Woman style shoppin' spree with R. Gere included and the snippy retail chic that you get to tell off. Obviously.

Pinterest lets you gather recipes, diy projects, outfit ideas, decorating ideas, fitness tips, yada yada yada.
As the Beastie Boys say, ch, ch, ch, ch, ch, ch, check it out.
Here's a little window treatment help...

how about some birch trees cause they're my favorite...

a recipe for a yummy lunch...

or an outfit idea that makes you want to tear up your jeans bon jovi style...

The bottom line is that Pinterest is a place for people to trade ideas and share things that they love and I'm all about that... and don't feel bad when it consumes your life and you find yourself clicking refresh every 10 minutes... we're all doing it. No peer pressure. wink.

best.day.ever

August 20th was a great day to get married! My husband, Philippe and I loved every minute of our low key shindig. We treated our family and friends to a 10 minute ceremony and then it was time to partaay!
We decided to get hitched at the Great American Pub in Conshohocken, which was Amaaazin. Geri, Kim and the whole staff helped us plan the best wedding we could have imagined - highly recommended!
